Recently, our Special Cargo location in Houston celebrated its five-year anniversary. In 2020, Special Cargo Services took a major step across the Atlantic: we opened our Houston, Texas location — right in the heart of a region where the energy, chemical, and offshore sectors rely heavily on safe, specialized logistics. Special Cargo stepped into that role.

What sets Special Cargo Houston apart?
Special Cargo Houston offers specialty services such as UN4D boxes, chemical repours and chemical cross docking:
- manufacturing 4D wooden crates, certified and tested to meet or exceed UN performance packaging specifications;
- re-pouring chemicals from large containers such as drums and totes into smaller UN Spec packaging to meet air carrier hazardous material quantity limits;
- chemical warehousing and distribution of bulk products with full control and visibility from receipt to departure.
