E-Accreditation
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management has granted us the status of E-accreditation holder. To be allowed to transport dangerous goods by air, you as a shipper must hold the proper accreditation. That is not always easy to obtain. With our E-accreditation, we can take on that role for you; we then assume full legal liability for the shipment.
AEO Security
Safety and security are of the utmost importance to us. It is no coincidence that Customs has granted us the AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) license. During the annual review, Customs inspects our security safeguards, such as safety and security systems and our internal control measures. In this way, we contribute to the security of the entire logistics chain.
ISO 9001:2015
To demonstrate what you as a customer mean to us, we are ISO 9001:2015 certified, the internationally recognized standard for quality management. For this, certification body LRQA conducts a short audit with us each year, and a comprehensive audit every three years, through which we renew our certification. This quality standard is convincing proof of our commitment to delivering products and services that meet customer expectations.

VIHB Registration
Special Cargo Services and Isologic are listed on the national register of Carriers, Collectors, Traders, and Brokers (VIHB) of the NIWO. This means we are authorized to collect and transport commercial waste and hazardous waste.
NIWO
Special Cargo Services is also registered on the national list of European transport license holders of the NIWO. This means we are officially authorized to perform professional road haulage, both within the Netherlands and across the European Union. This registration, also known as the Euro permit, is a crucial quality mark in the transport sector and shows that we comply with strict legal requirements.
Article 17 Explosives Act
We are the market leader in the safe storage and transport of civil explosive substances. For transportation, our employees are screened based on the Article 17 accreditation according to the Explosives for Civil Use Act. The Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate monitors this. In addition, we use approved transport equipment for these shipments.
BORG Certification
Our warehouses and storage facilities in Europoort, near Schiphol, and in IJmuiden are BORG-2 certified. This ensures that our locations meet strict requirements in terms of burglary protection. Security consists of multiple layers, with both structural and electronic measures in place to prevent unauthorized access. These include reinforced access points, certified structural burglary protection, and advanced alarm systems. In addition, 24/7 camera surveillance is in place to continuously monitor safety.
GDP Certification
Our transport division Isologic is certified for compliance with the European guidelines for Good Distribution Practice (GDP). This underlines the strength of our management system and confirms our commitment to the highest quality and safety standards in pharmaceutical logistics.
