Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor

In addition to Special Cargo Services’ operations, we also offer consulting through the consultancy division of Special Cargo College. For example, we act as (external) Safety Advisors for our clients. Every company involved in the transport or handling of hazardous materials must appoint a Safety Advisor under ADR/RID/ADN regulations. Special Cargo can fulfill this role within your company, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety obligations.

Civil aviation security

We are also active in civil aviation security. Just like hazardous materials, strict regulations apply to aviation security. Our consultants guide companies in obtaining the ‘Known Consignor’ or ‘Regulated Agent’ status, essential for companies wishing to ship air cargo. We also assist with regulatory compliance and provide targeted training programs.

Knowledge partner for government

Special Cargo is frequently invited by government bodies to advise on the interpretation of (new) regulations by the industry. As a knowledge partner, we contributed to the development of IATA’s Competency-Based Training & Assessment method. Our involvement in working groups in the Netherlands and Brussels enables us to anticipate regulatory changes and proactively support our clients.
