For our location at Schiphol (Oude Meer), we are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Dangerous Goods Operator. Who are we?
Pleased to meet you! We are Special Cargo Services, the Dangerous Goods Specialist. Special Cargo Services provides all services related to the storage, packaging and transport of dangerous goods. We take all worries off our clients’ hands and ensure that all dangerous goods are made ready for shipment and transported from A to B—by road, by sea, by rail and by air.

What will you do?
- Packaging and documenting dangerous goods
- Checking dangerous goods shipments on location
- Preparing shipments for onward transport
- Creating and processing quotations
- Informing customers about shipment status updates
- Complete administrative handling of files
- Executing pick & pack processes
Working hours are by agreement, but you will periodically have a late shift. The position is for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
What do you bring?
Do you have at least MBO-level working and thinking skills, relevant work experience (preferred) and good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written? Are you communicative, able to hold your own in a dynamic environment and willing to go the extra mile?
For working with air cargo, a Certificate of No Objection (VGB) is required. We will apply for this together with you prior to your employment.
