Air transport of dangerous goods requires formal authorization and certification by the Dutch government. Thanks to our status as E-recognition holder, Special Cargo Services is able to assume full legal responsibility as the consignor on your behalf. Our advanced warehousing and storage facilities are ISO 9001:2015 certified and meet the highest quality standards. Across our locations in the United States and the Netherlands, we offer 25,000 m² (269,000 sq. ft.) of warehouse space, equipped with cutting-edge fire safety and ventilation systems. Here, dangerous goods of all hazard classes are safely stored – whether temporarily, or long term.

In addition to conventional storage solutions, Special Cargo Services also offers highly specialized facilities for goods with exceptional risk profiles. Our advanced storage is fully compliant with the strictest legal standards, allowing us to handle lithium-based energy carriers, radioactive materials (class 7), and explosives (class 1). Our in-house hazardous materials experts ensure every shipment receives the specialist attention and expertise it requires.

Thanks to our dedicated UN4D department, we can handle the design and production of UN-certified wooden packaging solutions entirely in-house. In fact, Special Cargo Services is the only packing company in the Houston area capable of manufacturing 4D wooden crates.
